Allan Edgar Evans, of Tiverton was born March 17, 1917 and died peacefully March 25, 2009. He is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie of over 67 years. Dear father of Beth Evans of Cambridge and Irwin Evans and his wife Isobel of Bruce Township. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tom, Jennie and Laura, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Clyde. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, ON N2Z 1Z5, 519-396-2701, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church – Tiverton, on Saturday March 28, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ruth MacLean officiating. Spring interment, Tiverton Cemetery.
