Elizabeth “Betty” Jean Scheuneman (née Chapeskie), of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Friday, March 5, 2010 in her 67th year. Dear Mother of Joanne (Regent) Belanger of Belmont, Donna (Donald) Geddes of Ripley and Brad (Lorrie) Scheuneman of Pickering. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Laura and Tanya Geddes of Ripley and Morgan Elizabeth Scheuenman of Pickering. Dearly missed by her sisters Margaret (Earnest) Parent of Kincardine, Izella (Harold) Ford of London and brother Kenneth Chapeskie of Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Marie (Pordenick) Chapeskie and her grandson Jeremy Belanger. Many niece, nephews and friends will miss Betty dearly. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Fr. Don Wilhelm officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
