Obituary
Collins, Bonnie Colleen (née Roppel), of Kincardine and formerly of R.R.#2 Tiverton, passed away peacefully in her 70th year at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria Hospital on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Beloved wife of the late “Bud” Wellington Collins (2011). She will be sadly missed by her children Jeffrey (Bonnie) Collins of Tiverton, Patricia (Don) Tunney of Seaforth and Brenda Collins of Kincardine. “Nana” will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Dustin, Tyler, Jason, Joe, Kaitlynn, Rikki-Lynn, Abby and her great-grandaughter Abby. Survived by her brothers Eldon Roppel, Randy (Gerda) Roppel, Don (Carolyn) Roppel all of Tiverton and sisters, Joan (Steve) Small of Kincardine and Lori (Al) Desjardine of Chatsworth. Lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a proud member of the Tiverton Women's Institute. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, ON, N2Z-1Z5, 519-396-2701, on Wednesday, December 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday December 5, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Interment, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to The Township of Bruce Historical Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
