Catherine Hartley

Hartley, Catherine Grace (nee Heron), of Kincardine, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre- Kincardine, on Sunday, May 6, 2007 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late George Vriese and the late John Hartley. Dear mother of John (Carol) Vriese of Caledon Village, Cathy (Dave) Edwards of Tiverton, Liz (Jim) MacPherson of Tiverton, Jane Hartley-Quackenbush (Jason Quackenbush) of Strathroy, and Tim Hartley of Mississauga. Cherished grandmother of Bailey and Jaris Edwards, Benjamin and Brittany MacPherson, and Emily Quackenbush. Sadly missed by her brother, Jim (Joan) Heron of Port Sydney, and her sisters, Joan (Dave) Mazur, Mary Cain, Betty Ann Pearen, all of Collingwood, Alexina (Alan) Reid of Stayner, and Carmen Nikal of British Columbia. Predeceased by her parents James & Carmen (Cooper) Heron and her brother-in-law, Ron Cain. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. Interment, Exeter Cemetery. Memorial donations to Amnesty International or Kincardine and District Community Living would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
