CHRISTINA BOYD Christina (Tina) Nicole Boyd BA/BSC (McMaster), MA (Carleton). Tina died peacefully at at age 46 on October 3, 2017, supported by her loving parents, Marion and Terry Boyd and Joseph Dunlop-Addley as well as her furry friends, Maggie and Tosca. Pre-deceased by her grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Watt and Irving and Marian Boyd and “Pop” Ray Schram and uncle Clive Boyd. Tina’s journey with MS was long and difficult, filled with disappointments and losses. Yet she never lost her determination to live with optimism, gratitude and faith, always ready to sing, smile, and laugh; when asked how she felt, she answered, “I’m great!” Tina’s glass was never less than “half-full.” We will miss our sunshine. Fulfilling Tina’s desire to live and die in Inverhuron by her beloved lake required help of many people. The family is grateful to all of them for their support. In addition to her family, special thanks are extended to the following: her physicians, Dr. Marc Lebeau (Ottawa) and Dr. Susan Batten (Habover); her CCAC nurses, especially Alison, Micah and Beth; her Team 4 nurses, especially Tammy and Susan; her many devoted PSW’s, especially Kerry, Jan, Sue, Carrie and Kristin and the E-shifters, especially Christine, David, Cindy and Susan, whos service allowed her parents to sleep; her VON palliative care visitors, Joy and Joyce; the Kincardine and Port Elgin Day Away staff, drivers, volunteers and participants; the staff at Gordon Pharmasave, Saugeen Mobility, and Machall Mobility; her Ministers, Gord Dunbar, Judy Zarubick and Don Harry as well as all her dear friends at the Kincardine United Church, whose prayers, visits, good wishes and cards sustained her to the end.
