Claire Ernestine Emmons (née Darling) of Tiverton, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 in her 87th year. Dear mother of Ron Martin (Susan) of Port Elgin. Missed by her grandchildren, Sara (Jenna) of Port Elgin, Jennifer (Judd) of Southampton and Jamie of Port Elgin. Fondly remembered by her son-in-law Richard Woodall of Gravenhurst, nieces Barbara (Jacques) of Iroquois, Lynne of Kingston and nephew Paul of Kingston. Predeceased by her parents, Ernie and Alma (née Powell) Darling, daughter Mary-Elizabeth Woodall and sister Joyce Stanton (Ab). A memorial reception to celebrate Claire’s life will take place Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Monday, December 18th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Final resting place Port Bruce Cemetery. Memorial donations to Allies for Alley Cats would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
