Cassidy, Donald George Thomas of Kincardine peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Donna (nee Robertson). Dear father of Kathy (Blake) Bryans of Cambridge and Ken (Cindy) Cassidy of Edmonton, Alberta. Loving grandfather of Dale, Sean, and Andrea Bryans, sadly missed by step-grandchildren Chris and Stephanie McCullouch. Proud great grandfather of Ethan and Aidan Bryans. Also survived by a sister Barb ( Murray) Finnie of Burgoyne. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Catherine Cassidy, brothers Neil and Gordon Cassidy as well as brothers-in-law Ross Maas, Ron Kennedy, and Dale Robertson. Visitation will be held at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Harry officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
