William Edwin “Ed” Eskrick, of Kincardine, passed away at Tiverton Park Manor, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Muriel Dawson (2005). Former spouse of Marjorie Ferrier of Kincardine. Cherished father of Sandra Quinn (Bob Campbell) of Kincardine, Cathy (Ken) Johnson of Kincardine, Jim (Laurie) Eskrick of Calgary Alberta, Bill (Della Springer) Hunter of Milverton and Phyllis Hunter (Sean Johnson) of Kincardine. Loving grandfather of Candice, Jasmine, Jason, Joel, Kyle, Rachel, Sherri, Danielle, Nash, Brian, Steve, Kathleen and great-grandfather of 17 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Elsie (Bob) Strople of Brantford and Sharon (Bert) Johnson of Wingham. Missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also missed by Ken Quinn and Dave Stewart. Predeceased by his parents William & Kate Eskrick (née Shewfelt). Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Friday, June 9th , from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 10th , 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Craig officiating. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tiverton Park Manor Residents’ Activity Fund or the Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
