Elsie Lillian Lockhart (née Moon), of Port Elgin and formerly of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at the Hanover Care Centre, on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Cherished wife of the late Charles “Bryce” Lockhart. Loving mother of John Lockhart (Mary Jo Knappett) of Grand Bend, Richard of Toronto and Suzanne MacLean of Paisley. Dear grandmother of Jody (Norman) Douglas, Kelly (Gary) Amaral, Charlie (Sheena) MacLean, Elsa (Scott) Thompson and great-grandmother of Jeremy, Jason & Jaclyn Core, Wyatt, Bryce, Sophia MacLean, Charlize, Isla Moon Amaral. Survived by sister Nancy (Richard) Martyn of Quebec and sister-in-law Anita Moon of Quebec. Predeceased by her daughter Linda, parents Stanley and Winnerfred Moon, brother Herbert and son-in-law Roderick MacLean. A graveside service will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery on Thursday, May 5th, at 11:00 am. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Arthritis Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
