Wheeler, Ernest “Ernie” Ivan, of Kincardine, passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Sunday, October 13, 2013, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Doreen (née Vaughan) and the late Jean (née England). Dear father of Murray Wheeler of Mississauga, Barry (Patti) Wheeler of Guelph and Susan Wheeler of Guelph. Loved brother of Betty (Joe) Uses of Scarsdale, New York. Sadly missed by his step-children Jim Smith (Karen Townsend) of Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, Leslie Smith (Eric Rupke) of Ayr and Lewis Moffat of Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 749 Russell Street, Kincardine, on Friday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Peter Jurzyk officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
