Young, Glenn MacDonald, formerly of Kinloss, passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Doreen Young (née Collins). Dear father of Dave (Mary Lynn) Young of R.R. #2, Kincardine and the late Vicki (Donald) Hackett. Loved grandfather of Lucas (Brittany) Young, Stephanie Young, Glenn Hackett and Rainor and Darian Kuz. Survived by his sister Dean Campbell of Bervie. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law Douglas Campbell, and Burton (Katherine) Collins and his sister-in-law Helen (Jerome) Schmidt. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, June 2, from 4:30 until 8:30 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Alex Hewitt officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kingarf Anglican Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
