Edith “Irene” Bradley of Tiverton passed away at Tiverton Park Manor on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late H. Stuart Bradley who predeceased her in 1998. Dear mother of Doris (Ernie) Young of Bruce Township and Gordon (Lois) Bradley of Kincardine. Cherished grandmother of Jim (Rose Marie) Young, Bill (Nancy) Young, Brian (Kathryn) Young, Roger (Caroline) Young, June (Laverne) Walker, Linda Young, Joan Bradley (Nick Bjelan) and Donald (Lisa) Bradley. Great grandmother of Amy (Andrew) Hallman, Corey Young, Ashley Young, Devon Young, Caitlin Young, Cristina Young, Brandie (Steve) Bernard, Ryan (Kaitlyn) Young, Samantha (Jon) Hootnick, Jacob Walker, Dylan Young, Jillian Bjelan, Robyn Bjelan, Erin Bjelan, Scott Bradley and Maura Bradley. Great great grandmother of Colton Bernard, Kaydence and Nash Young. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Melville (Mildred) Henry, her sister, Agnes (Gordon) Lyons, sister-in-law Irene (Fales) Bonnett and brother-in-law Hugh (Arthena) Bradley. Also predeceased by infant daughter Gladys, great grandson Aaron Walker and great great granddaughter Blayre Bernard. Irene was born in the Amberley area on December 20, 1912, daughter of John and Edith (Robb) Henry. After her marriage, she and Stuart farmed on the Boundary east of Tiverton until they retired to Kincardine and later Inverhuron. After Stuart’s passing, Irene returned to Kincardine for a few years and has resided at Tiverton Park Manor for the past 10 years. Irene’s family wishes to express special thanks to the staff and management of Tiverton Park Manor and to Dr. Gary Gurbin for the excellent care through the years. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, March 24th, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Chang officiating. Spring internment in Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Knox Presbyterian Church, Tiverton, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
