John George “Jack” Hartwick, of Kincardine, at Fordwich Village Nursing Home, on Monday, July 20, 2009 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Effie Hartwick (née Boyd). Dear father of Boyd and his wife Ola of Stratford and Dale and his wife Gail of Harriston. Sadly missed by five grandsons, and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Thursday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jim Weir officiating.
