Whelen, Jean Pearl (née Wilkinson), of Tiverton, at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, on Sunday, April 8, 2012 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Whelen. Dear mother of Robert and his wife Rose of Sarnia, Randy and his wife Wendy of Tiverton, Rhonda Sadler and her husband Jody of St. Anns, Ontario, Michael and his wife Kim of Strathroy and Shawn and his wife Bobbie of Napanee. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Joan Wilkinson of Tiverton, Gladys “Babsy” (Donald) May of Russell and Donna McGarry of Russell. Predeceased by her grandson, Jody Sadler, her great-grandson Gaberiel Riley, her brothers, Walter, Harry, Lorne, Robert and George and her sisters, Lillian, Peggy and Edythe. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Wilson of Renfrew and Jean Whelen of Portage du Fort, Quebec. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Friday, April 13, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Don Harry officiating. Memorial donations to the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario (SB & H) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
