Joao “John” Des Neves Simoes, of Culross Township, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 8, 2017, in his 65th year. Cherished husband of Maria Simoes (née Aguiar). Dear father of John Simoes of Culross Twp., Rui Simoes of Culross Twp., Anabel (Loran) Campbell of RR#5 Kincardine, Gerry Simoes of Culross Township and Jacqueline Simoes of Arthur. Dear grandfather of Garrett Campbell, Carson Campbell, Natalia Simoes, Abigail Simoes and Ebony White. Beloved brother of Manuel (Maria Adilada) Simoes of Toronto, Jose (Joanne) Simoes of Bradford, Luciano (Rosa) Simoes of Mississauga, Maria Lucia Sarmento of Toronto and Abel (Marina) Simoes of Cambridge. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joao & Maria. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Wednesday, July 12, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brian Martin officiating. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.Obituary
