John Wesley Pinkerton, of Walkerton, passed away at the Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 in his 84th year. Cherished friend of Louise Hyman of Tiverton. Beloved brother of Marjorie Westwood of London and Maurice “Mike” (Carmel) Pinkerton of Inverhuron. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Annie (née Fraser) Pinkerton, brother-in-law Ronald Westwood and sister-in-law Shirley Pinkerton. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service to celebrate John’s life at 1:30 pm. with Ann Maycock officiating. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
