Mabel Hewitt

Hewitt, Mabel Irene (née Guest), beloved wife of the late Francis Hewitt and dear friend of Ernest Stewart of Kincardine. She passed away peacefully at the home of her son Bob. Mabel’s strong spirit lives on in her children: sons Bob (Judy Moore) of Kincardine, Larry (Kitty McArthur) of Lucan, Brian (Dianne Bath) of Kincardine, Rick (Sandy Verheye) of Kincardine and daughters Bev Ross (Bob Small) of Kincardine, Bonnie Robertson of Point Clark and Lois (Rob Blake) of Kincardine. She will be greatly missed by 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Mabel is now in Heaven with her granddaughter Tanya (Bob and Judy) and great-granddaughter MaKenzie (Alicia and Alan). Mabel is survived by her one brother Jack (Jane) of Kincardine. She is predeceased by her sister Ruth, two brothers Harold and Edgar as well as a son-in-law Harvey Ross. Heaven has received a very special Angel and we will miss her dearly, until we meet again. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Tuesday, September 18, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
