Marion Ekstrom

MARION Leona Ekstrom Ekstrom, Marion Leona (née Weatherall), of Kincardine, died peacefully at the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, October 29th 2013, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Harry Coruzzi. Mother to Vicki Ekstrom (Holly) and Wendy Irvine. Grandmother to BJ Irvine (Whitney), Travis Irvine (Lisa), Nicole McCormick, Shaun McCormick and Michael McCormick. Great-grandmother to Gage, Xander and Avah, . She is survived by her siblings Laverne Weatherall (Sandy), Shirley Dore (Ron), Lindsay Weatherall (Gail) and Winston Weatherall. Long time friend of Leona Ekstrom, Brenda Kunkel, Jerry Bakker, Joan and Reg Richard, Joan and Bill Zoppi and Val and Keith Addison. A graveside service will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. The family would like to thank all the nurses, PSW’s, therapists, and staff associated with the CCAC who provided compassionate care for Marion at home and to the caring and professional staff and volunteers at the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce.
