Norman, Mary Margaret (née MacLeod), of Tiverton and formerly of Kincardine, passed away at Tiverton Park Manor on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Oscar Norman. Dear mother of Sheila (Robert) Hunter of Kincardine, Robert Norman (Vera) of Woodstock, Isabel Craig of R.R.#5 Kincardine and Mary Lou (George) Tout of Kincardine. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Debbie Lajoie, Terry Hunter, Murray Norman, Angela Hahn, Todd Craig, Jason Craig and her eight great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Islay Chappell of Port Elgin. Predeceased by her grandson Jeff Norman; brothers Neil and A.C. “Mac” MacLeod; sister Jean MacLennan and her son-in-law John Craig. Visitation was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Sunday, September 7, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. where the funeral service took place on Monday, September 8, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jim Weir officiating. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons; Terry and Blake Hunter, Jason Craig and Bryan Clarke and Nephews; Paul McLeod and Ross Norman. Flower bearers were her granddaughters; Debbie Lajoie, Angela Hahn and Jennifer Hunter. Piping her to her final rest at Kincardine Cemetery was grandson Todd Craig. Memorial donations to the Tiverton Park Manor Residents’ Activity Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
