Horne, Mildred Leona Isabell, of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at Trillium Court, on Monday, February 6, 2012, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Caroline (McCormick) Horn, sister Elva and her husband Burton Hodgins, brother Ralph Horn and nieces Lynn Hodgins and Mary Robinson. Survived by nieces and nephews Betty Jean (Bob) White, Kincardine, Ken Robinson, Huron Township, Ron (Linda) Hodgins, Paisley, Keith (Gladys) Hodgins, Kincardine Township, Burt (Maria) Hodgins, Kincardine Township, and Merv Hodgins, Bruce Township. AAlso survived by many great nieces and nephews. Mildred was born on February 28, 1921 to Edwin & Caroline (McCormick) Horn in Kincardine Township. She spent her adult life in London where she worked at Redpath Sugar as a secretary. Mildred will be remembered for her love of nature especially African violets, orchids, birds and Lake Huron. Private family service with interment in Kincardine Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral home, Kincardine.
