Haldenby, Pearl (née Shearing), of Teeswater and formerly of London, passed away suddenly at Stratford General Hospital, on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in her 65th year. Beloved wife of Vic Haldenby. Dear mother of Brian and his wife Maria of Hamilton and Brad and his wife Christine of London. Cherished Nanny of Nathan, Tyler and Emily. Loved sister of Verna Kieley of Newfoundland, Lila (Bill) Gower of London, Betty (Mont) Canning of Newfoundland, Scott Shearing of Newfoundland and Allan (Brenda) Shearing of London. Also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Shearing of Dorchester. Predeceased by her sister Lucy Hollohan, brother Lloyd Shearing, brothers-in-law Mike Kieley and Gus Hollohan and sister-in-law Alberta Shearing. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes St., Kincardine, ON N2Z 1Z5, 519-396-2701, on Tuesday, October 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating.
