Green, Raymond Loyd Raymond was the 5th of 6 children born to Charles and Gladys (Almond) Green. He was born into a farming family and continued that tradition with great pride, on Concession 7 of Kincardine Township. His most favourite chore to do on the farm was fixing fences. He enjoyed the company of his family, friends and loyal, four legged companion, Sammy. Raymond Green of Kincardine, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services-Owen Sound, on Friday, October 11, 2013 in his 78th year. Beloved partner of Patricia Leach. Dear father of Karen Green (Andy Toporchak) of Vancouver, B.C., Kathy Green of Kincardine and Kevin (Lani) Green of Meaford. Cherished grandfather of Leah, Kyle, Colton, Maddock, Loey and Brock. Sadly missed by Pat’s children, Harry (Diane) Courtney of Kincardine, Garry (Sheri) Courtney of Port Dover and Bonnie Courtney (Tim Brewer) of Kincardine and their families. Loved brother of Leonard (Betty) Green of Guelph, Harold Green of Welland, Charlie (Toni) Green of Simcoe and Raeda Mae Luxford of Guelph. Predeceased by his wife Lois Green (née Cook) (1981), his brother Doug Green, sisters-in-law, Vi and Dorothy Green and brother-in-law Bill Luxford. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Tuesday, October 15, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to Kincardine, Tiverton or Ripley Minor Hockey Associations or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
