TUFFORD, Rita Alice (Antonow) – Of Kincardine. Always loving & always loved; God took our beautiful Mom to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband, Jack Tufford on April 29th, 2007. Her memory will forever enshrine in her children’s heart’s - Saundra Willman of Kitchener, Jackie Bere & companion Robert Simpson of London, Paul & Debbie Tufford of Cambridge, Evan Tufford of Kincardine, Douglas & Debbie Tufford of Brantford, Jane & Gord Booker of Uxbridge, and Leah & Ted Monsma of Bowmanville. Much loved Grandma of 14 grandchildren & 6 special spouses, 6 great grandchildren and 2 additional great grandchildren to be born this year. Rita is survived by her sister in law, Stephania Antonow. She was predeceased by her sisters Mary Snyder (Clifford), Helen Bloor (Gordon), Bernice Johannes and brothers Walter Antonow and Carl Antonow (Mildred). Rita was a member of the Kincardine United Church and the Ripley Legion, Rita & Jack enjoyed many years as members of the Point Clark and Kincardine Seniors Clubs. Mom thoroughly enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Heartfelt thanks to Trillium Court & their staff and Pastor Judy Zarubick A Legion Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held Monday at 6:45 p.m. followed by visitation from 7 – 9 p.m. at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine. A Celebration of Mom’s Life will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Kincardine United Church. Cremation has taken place with final interment to be at the Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. In Mom’s memory donations may be made to the Kincardine United Church, Ripley Legion, or the Alzheimer Society. Our greatest gift from God; returned to God – Our Loving Mother.
