Robert "Bob" Barnes

Barnes, Robert “Bob” James Sydney, of Petrolia and formerly of Point Clark, passed away at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Barnes (née McRae). Dear father of Ron Barnes of Warwick Township and Brian (Heather) Barnes of Goderich. Loved “poppa” of Ethan Barnes. Sadly missed by his brother Rick Barnes of Warwick Township and his sister Margaret Rose Lawson of Petrolia. Predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Don Barnes and his sister-in-law Mildred Johnson. Also survived by his brothers-in-law, Ken (Bonnie) McRae of Forest and Larry Johnson of Wyoming and his sister-in-law Marilyn (Lee) Emmons of Warwick Township. Visitation will be held at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Tuesday, December 30, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Vicki Johnson officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
