MacKinnon, Robert “Bob” Hugh, of RR#3 Tiverton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Betty MacKinnon (née Surridge). Dear father of John MacKinnon (Shirley Cooper) of RR#3 Tiverton, Jean (Carl) Bowen of Belleville, Anne MacKinnon of RR#4 Ripley and Jamie (Kelly) MacKinnon of RR#2 Tiverton. Loved grandfather of John MacKinnon, Dan (Cherise) MacKinnon, Sean Bowen (Amanda Boutilier), Alexis Bowen, Corey Bowen, Kelsey Hunter (Cole Johnston), Kyle Hunter, Jayson MacKinnon and Kaitlyn MacKinnon. Cherished brother of Marjorie Lawrie of Port Elgin, Mary Cameron of Grande Prairie, Alberta, and Catherine Alexander of Goderich. Predeceased by his brother John MacKinnon, his sister Ann Parr, brothers-in-law, Tom Lawrie, Jerry Cameron, Bert Alexander, Mel Parr and Mac Surridge. Also survived by his sister-in-law Clara Surridge of RR#2 Tiverton. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Friday, June 14, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jeanette Fleischer officiating. Interment, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church-Tiverton would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
