ROD NORDSTAT Roderick “Rod” Nordstat (Snoddy), passed away in Kincardine, on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 in his 56th year. Dear son of Jane and the late Herbert Snoddy. Missed by brother Paul (Deborah) Snoddy of London. Also missed by niece Jenna Snoddy, nephew Justin Snoddy and great-nephew Maliek Seaton. Rod was in search of peace and serenity in his life and found it in the Kincardine landscape. My brother was an outdoor enthusiast and in particular, enjoyed mountain biking. Many residents supported Rod on this journey and we are truly grateful. It warms our hearts that Rod found joy in his life. Our family also wish to thank his employer, Bruce Power and the Millwrights of Ontario, and the many doctors and other medical staff who treated my brother through his many health struggles. Prayers will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
