MacKinnon, Russell, of Kincardine Township, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Wilda MacKinnon (née McDougall). Dear father of Pennie-Lee (Steve) Watson of Kincardine, Paul (Lynn) of Port Elgin, Dale (Dawn) of R.R. #3, Tiverton, Bonnie Weiss (James Murphy) of Mississauga and Mark MacKinnon (Kelly Helm) of Kincardine. Much loved grandfather of Briar Watson, Jenna (Ben) Scott, Matthew Watson, Brandon (Sarah) Bell, Ian MacKinnon, Kerri (Tom) Tomljenovic, Joshua MacKinnon, Emily (Jeremey) Magda, Jesse MacKinnon, Tasha Weiss-Hay (Ryan Hay), Colby (Kristin) Weiss, Cory Weiss, Liam and Nolan MacKinnon and great-grandfather of Grant Scott. Cherished brother of Ronnie (Florence) of Vancouver, Kevin (Lise) of Calgary, Don (Stephanie) of Kitchener, Kathleen MacKinnon and Wendy MacKinnon, both of London. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant son, Perry, his parents, Archibald and Kathleen (Reid) MacKinnon, his step-mother Annis MacKinnon, his sister Darlene MacKinnon, brother, Jack MacKinnon and sister-in-law Jean Hayes and brother-in-law Sam Hayes. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Thursday, November 6, from 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Interment, Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Community Living – Kincardine & District or the Kincardine Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
