Emmerton, Stanley Howard (WW II Veteran), of Kincardine, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Friday, August 31, 2007 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Sylvia Emmerton (nee Jackson) of 61 years. Dear father of Cheryl (Ron) McKee of Kincardine. Loved grandfather of Brooke McKee-Bass (Seth Bass) of New Jersey and Carla McKee of London, and great-grandfather of Jonah and Noa Bass. Also survived by his sister Annie Maurer of Kincardine. Predeceased by his brothers, Edwin, Joseph, Gordon, Allan and Herbert, and his sisters, Frances Walsh, Elizabeth Geddes and Edna Wilken. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, September 3, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kincardine Legion Branch #183 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
