It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Toni Thielman in her 66th year on Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by family. She was a strong, amazing woman, adventurer, intellectual, teacher, writer and most of all a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother to be and friend. Toni will be sadly missed by her sons Justin and Darrin Thielman, daughter Alison Thielman, son-in-law Jarrod Lynn and grandchild to be, sister Nicholle and brother-in-law Gerry Loney, brother Peter and sister-in-law Carol Thielman, niece Angela Minard, nephews Daniel Loney, Jason Loney, Derek Thielman, Ryan Thielman and Devon Thielman, along with their families, her wonderful friends and colleagues from Kincardine District Secondary School, writer groups and more. She chose to "boldly go" through life and take the roads less traveled. A memorial service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Saturday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made online at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com or by mail on the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation website as a tribute to Toni Thielman.Obituary
