William "Bill" Halbert

William Arthur “Bill” Halbert of Kincardine, passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Sunday, November 6th, 2016 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Anne Halbert (née Smith). Dear father of Mary Halbert of Southampton, Kerry (Mike) Maus of Barrie, Ian (Andrea) Trumble of Kincardine and Jean (Travis) Breton of Point Clark. Missed by his grandchildren, Kelsey and Darcy. Fondly remembered by his sister Susan (Grant) Hunter of Barrie, brother Larry (Judy) Halbert of Barrie, sisters-in-law Peggy (Steve) Wilson of West Vancouver, Cathie (Kaz) Orlanski of Oakville and brother-in-law Doug (Robin) Irvin of Edmonton. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Geraldine (née Gotreau) Halbert. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Sunday, November 20th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the chapel on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
