Erwin Klingspon

Klingspon, Erwin: Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Trinity Village at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Helga for 47 years. Loving dad to Gary and Kenneth. Survived by his brother Hermann (Agathe) Klingspon of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Gustav and Frieda, his siblings Phillip, Leonida and Willi and his first wife Gardia. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany and also by Frieda Purvis. A special thank you to the staff at Trinity Village - Cherry Orchard for the excellent care given to Erwin. Erwin's family will receive relatives and friends from 3 - 5 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 10 - 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Hope Lutheran Church, 30 Shaftsbury Dr., Kitchener. A funeral service will follow at the church at 11 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery following the service. Reception in the church hall after the burial.
