Schultz, Renate (nee Hartig)

Passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Long Term Care, Kitchener after a long battle with multiple sclerosis on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the age of 67. Dear mother of Tricia Duckett (Matthew) of Breslau and Kelly Grebinski (Evan) of Ayr. Loved grandmother of Kieran, Jackson and Emma. Dear sister of George (Shelley) Hartig and John (Marjorie) Hartig. Also survived by her good friend Nick Giesler. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Rosa Hartig and sister Nelly Kuppek.

Renate's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10:20 a.m. then process to St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener where Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. Private cremation and family interment to take place at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
