Braun, William (Bill): Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at St. Luke's Place in Cambridge at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Weiss (1999). Loving Dad to James. Remembered by his siblings Ted (Mary), Lucy (Ronald) Hill and Mark (Gale). Also remembered by brothers- in-law Tony Weiss and Jack Cranstoun. Predeceased by brother Tom, sisters Mary Cranstoun and Susan VanKats, brother-in-law Nick VanKats and sister-in-law Margaret Weiss. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Bill was an avid angler and hunter. He was a proud member of the Cambridge- Hespeler Legion and The Cambridge North Rotary Club. A special thank you to the staff at St. Luke's Place for all their care and compassion given to Bill. Bill's family will receive relatives and friends from 2- 4 pm & 7- 9 pm on Tuesday, October 17th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne's RC Church (268 East Avenue) on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 at 10:00 am. Reception to follow in the church hall.
