Our dear mother, Margaret Evelyn Mckee entered into rest on July 5, 2017 in her 94th year. Margaret is predeceased by her beloved husband, Wellington Roy “Bud” McKee (2002), and is survived by her children; William (Lynn) of Belle River, Mark (Annette) of Lakefield, Lynda (Robert Burn) of Janetville, Peggy (Darryl Aikman) of Nanoose Bay, B.C., Betty (Stuart Gautier) of Qualicum Beach, B.C., Marion (Ernie Hamilton) of Peterborough, sister Irene and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son David (1981), brothers Leonard and Wayne. Margaret cherished her 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Margaret passed in Ross Memorial Hospital with her children by her side, where she worked from 1960 to 1988 as a registered nurse in the emergency department. Margaret will be resting at Celebration (35 Lindsay Street North) on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. Mom always had an open heart with the many lives she crossed paths with.
