Fred Bell Obituary

Fredrick (Fred) William Bell, formerly of Toronto, died peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday April 11, 2017 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his parents and beloved wife of 55 years; the late Shirley Ruth Bell (nee Woodward). Treasured father and father-in-law of the late April Gregory (nee) Bell and Cameron Gregory, Wendy Bell, and Mandy Radford (nee) Bell. Cherished and proud grandfather of Nicholas Gregory, Liam Radford and Francis Radford. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bernard and Helen Bell and Jacquelene Chapman (nee Bell). Well known for the twinkle in his eye and his dedication to Hunters Safety Education, which he taught for over 50 years, managing the creation of the very first Hunters Safety Guide for the Ministry of Natural Resources. Always an avid outdoorsman; who loved nature, as much as he loved his boat the Slow Poke and a salmon on the end of the line. Special thanks to Shawn Clemens and the Wille family. Memorial service will be held at STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Sunday April 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. followed by refreshments. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario through Stoddart Funeral Home at stoddart@lindsaynet.com
