Bob Brooks ~ of Listowel, peacefully with his family at his side, at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in his 78th year. Loving husband of Sharon (Hodgins) Brooks. Much loved father of Bevin and Karen Brooks, and Brad and Courtney Brooks, all of Listowel. Proud Papa of Brittney and Mike Hockey, Brandon Brooks and Tara Ritchie, Parker Brooks, and Lawson Brooks, and prouder Great Papa of Jaxon, Owen, and Bentley. Brother of Joan Darling of Orangeville, Wray and Nancy Brooks of Stratford, Georgina and Gerald Reid of Palmerston, Don and Jackie Brooks of Stratford, Jim and Nancy Brooks of Listowel, Audrey and Jamie Fitzgerald of Harrington, and Ken and Janice Brooks, and Len and Di Brooks, all of Stratford, and brother-in-law of Stan Schade of Wiarton, Lynn Brooks of Stratford, and Marj Brooks of Tavistock. Remembered also by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Bertha (Snyder) Brooks, sister Reta Schade, brothers Larry Brooks, and Bryon Brooks, and brother-in-law Jim Darling. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Saturday, November 9th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Bob’s life from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Listowel Legion, (565 Elizabeth St. E., Listowel).
