CAVALLE GRAVISTON Cavalle Graviston, 94, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Wellington Graviston whom she married on June 30, 1948. Dear sister-in-law of Doris Brown of Windsor. Loving aunt of a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Reginald and Ada (Gale) Gatenby, brothers-in-law Joseph (Helen) Hoggart, Robert Brown and niece Jackie Bast. Cavalle attended Stratford Normal School and went on to teach at S.S.#2 Logan and Mitchell Public School. She later worked for Dr. Pridham, Harlequin Books in Stratford and the Mitchell Post Office. She was a member of Main St. United Church, Mitchell and the Stratford Retired Women Teachers. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Dunbar officiating. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
