Steenburgh, Carl Earl Scout leader, school president, jazz fan, friend, husband, father, grandfather, long time member of Kingsview United Church, and employed by GM/EDS for 39 1/2 years. Born in rural Ontario in the war years and now he is on to the next life on April 16, 2015 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa where he is with friends and anglers that he missed who went before him. He loved and was loved by his wife, Kathie (Mollenhauer) for 52 years. He will be missed by his daughters Carrie and Noelle (Barry Rees) and is in the heart of his grandson Alex Fernandez. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Anne Dickinson and pre-deceased by his parents Blanche and Earl. Carl was cremated in a private ceremony as was his wish with his immediate family present. A celebration of his life will be held at Kingsview United Church in Oshawa (Adelaide and Wilson) on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:30pm with a visitation time starting at 1:30pm. In the meantime, please raise a glass and toast this caring, joyful man.
