In Loving Memory of a dear husband, father, grand-father, brother, and friend.
Charles Hermann Feldmann

In the quiet morning of a new day, an honorable man of few words, who was loved, respected, and trusted by those whose path he shared, quietly went home.
His first job in construction was the Alaska project, and throughout Canada.
Civil Engineering,Certified in tunneling, Project manager, Superintendent. He wore many hats. The next 20 years, he worked in many overseas jobs. St.Thomas,Virgin Island, The tourist ships still safely dock.
Nassau,Bahamas, ships safely to the pier. The dredged ocean floor, created "Charley's island." High in the mountains of Guatemala, They turned a snake infested river into an Electrical power station that gave light to so many.
Tunneling down through the mountains of Colombia, a Hydro Power station still stands strong. Puerto Rico, El Salvador, and Jamaica, storage silos ,deep water piers. In so many countries, the benefit of this man's work still remains . Charles last job, is the Bank of Jamaica.
Feeling for home, time to see his children grow, he returned to Oshawa. Several Mac's Milk convenience stores, gas stations, offered no time, kids grew up,leaving home.. after passing the station to youngest son David, it was time to relax and stay home.
The usual travels, goodbyes to old friends...Oshawa grew, more people,cars...time began to hang heavy.
In the 90s,found the perfect retirement home hidden behind trees, sitting on a bluff, overlooking the peaceful village of Warkworth, the rolling hills, dales and endless farms, brought childhood memories of his village in Germany before the war. He was content and happy.
The spirit may be forever, but the body is not. Health issues, medical concerns occupied our time. Attempts to move closer to our children did not work out.
He left his loving, always devoted wife and life companion Tillie,of 57 years. Sister,Heike, daughters, Judy,Jan, and Virginia.Sons, David and Andrew.4 grandchildren , and 2 great grandchildren.
Charles was taken care of , by the efficient, patient, and compassionate people of the Newcastle Funeral Home.
Families and friends said a beautiful goodbys.

On a sunny Sunday morning, close family, after prayers, close this chapter of good man's life.
