Constance Anne Lipscomb (nee Duggan) Surrounded by her loving family, our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother peacefully passed away on August 10, 2015. Dear Mother and friend of Peter (Joan) Lipscomb, Jackie (Barry) Clark-Stratton, Connie (Victor) Lewis and Joanne (Bill) Roter. Amazing Grandma (and veggie enforcer) to David (Sara); Melissa (Steve); Ryan (DeAnna); Greg; Andrea (Jeff); Jennifer (Richard); Chris; Sam; Eric and Haley. Great-Grandma to Savannah, Makinzie, Andrew, Amelia, Jonathan, and two on the way. Dear Sister-In-law to Valerie Lipscomb in England. Predeceased by her husband of 49 years Cecil Ernest Lipscomb, sisters Eileen and Sheilah and son-in-law Ken. Leading an extra-ordinary and adventurous life that started in London, England, surviving the Blitz, following her love to South Africa and married, returning to England to start a family, and then settling in Canada. Mom especially enjoyed her later years at Wilmot Creek involved in volunteering, active in many clubs and sports. Her positive attitude and humour endeared her to all she touched and countless friends. Mom and Dads’ pride and joy was the Family Cottage, where for the past 45 years, we all gathered playing cards and games, as our families expanded. This tradition continues. Moms last few years at Cedar Heights, Hillsdale Terraces enriched the lives of fellow residents and was lovingly cared for by the most wonderful staff. We are very grateful. The Family would like to thank Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the excellent care received. Arrangements are entrusted to NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME. There will be a private family service.
