ALLIN, Glenn Ewart Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Monday, August 26th, 2019 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee:Rainey) for 68 years. Loving father of Shirley Schroter (Moe), Steve (Mary Ann) and Nancy Karhu (Al). Devoted Papa of Andrew (Jessica), Sarah (Chris), Ben (Heather), Daniel (Cindy), Nicole (Andy), Juliana, Emily (Tyler), Scott (Natasha), Natalie and the late Joshua (Sydney). Cherished great Papa of Ziggy, Gloria, Penelope, Kai, Roxas, Leah, Claire, Kenneth, Charley and Quentin. Predeceased by his siblings Ruth, June and Ross. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Ward and the Doctors and Nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Visitation will be held at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. Newcastle (905-987-3964) on Friday, August 30th, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the NEWCASTLE UNITED CHURCH, 84 Mill St. S. Newcastle on Saturday, August 31st, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. In memory of Glenn, donations made to the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation or the Newcastle United Church – Building Fund would be greatly appreciated.
