It is with deep and profound sadness we announce the passing of June on December 26, 2016 from a recent stroke. Predeceased by her beloved husband Charlie, selfless Mother of son Brett (Shirley Mahoney) and daughter Kim (Franco De Iuliis) and doting Grandmother of Olivia (De Iuliis). Dear Sister to Catherine (deceased), Albert, May, Gladys, Jessie, James (deceased), Marlene and Maggie. An infectious lover of life whether she was spending time with family and friends golfing, skiing or cooking. Family and friends will be received at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill Street S., (just north of hwy 401 at the first lights), for memorial visitation on Friday, December 30th from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. Memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oshawa Hospital Stroke Unit would be appreciated.
