Gray, Mary Victoria (nee Wirstiuk) It is with sad hearts that the family of Vickie Gray, born in Selkirk, Manitoba to Ukrainian immigrants, wife of the late Alfred Gray announces her passing at Lakeridge Heatlh Bowmanville on Friday, March 6th in her 87th year. Lovingly remembered by her sons George and his wife Diane, Greg and his wife Angela, her grandchildren Deric, Michael (Jenny), Alfie, Stephen and Stefanie, three great grandchildren, large extended family, special friends Gert, Lorraine, Anna, Cathie, Marc and the coffee clubs. Vickie was very active in her community of Newcastle, especially the ACW of St. George's and the food bank. Her cabbage rolls, pierogies and butter tarts were second to none.
