Norma Lee

Norma Evelyn Lee (nee Hall) – July 9, 1925 – July 25, 2015 Peacefully at Regency Manor, on July, 25, 2015 in her 91st year. Loving mother to Karen Lee (Bill), Rebecca Brown (Steve) and Jason Lee. Beloved grandmother of Aaron, Jesse, Travis, Jody (Nicholas), James, Eric and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Oliver, Madison, Brandon, Alice and Charlotte. Aunt to David Cozens (Denise) and Eric Cozens (deceased). Sister-in-law to Bobbie Lee. Predeceased by her husband Royal, mother Bertha Hall, sister Dorothea Cozens and brother Donald Hall. Norma will be missed by her many friends and especially by her dear friend Margaret. Norma was very active in synchronized swimming both as a competitor and judge, art (oil/water painting) and the Orono Museum. With her husband Royal, they were also avid birders. A special thank you to Dr. Schattner and Anita at the Durham Region Cancer Clinic in Oshawa for their excellent care. Also a special thank you to all the staff at Regency Manor in Port Hope for keeping her comfortable during her last days. Visitation will be at the Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St S, on July 29 from 11am to 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Following her wishes, her ashes will be interred beside her husband in Gananoque. If desired, memorial donations may be made to women shelters, The Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
