<p>LeBreton, Stanley Joseph-&nbsp; Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, December 13th with his loving wife of 51 years and his youngest daughter Laura by his side. Survived by his wife Cathy, Stanley was a loving father and father in law to Tracey, and Dan Guanzon, Laura and Bradley McMinn.&nbsp;&nbsp; Adored Papa and Grandpa of Kristian and Amanda, Makayla, Dannaka, Teague, Ashton, Tyler and Makenna. Amazing Great Grandpa to Keleah. Loving brother to Helen Lemay (Gerald), Vicky (predeceased by Donald O’Brien), Allan, Allister (Audrone), Eric (predeceased), Garie, Donna Saunders (Brian). Loving brother in law to Bill Scorgie, Dan Scorgie, Susan Roberts (Brian).&nbsp; Will be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born in Chatham New Brunswick, May 31st 1943. After finding the love of his life and his way to Ontario, he served 39 years as a General Motors employee.&nbsp; Stanley a.k.a “Sonny” and “Stabber” was a kind, gentle, fun and patient man. Not a perfect man but a perfect husband, father, father-in law, grandfather, great Grandfather, Uncle, brother, son and friend. A man who cared not for materialistic things but gave of himself in any way that he could to help others.&nbsp; His heart was the biggest and greatest thing about him. He was always the life of the party, had a joke and a dance for every occasion. He had a life-long love affair with lobster, the Blue Jays, Montreal Canadiens and secretly The Young and the Restless!!</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation will take place at the families’ convenience. A portion of Stanley’s ashes will remain with his wife, a portion will be taken to the Miramichi , and a portion will be shared in jewelry for his immediate family. </p><p><br></p><p>Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate “Sonny’s” life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink in his memory would be quite appropriate.&nbsp; Instead of flowers, Stan would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in need in his name.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of Stan’s life will be held on Saturday, December 19th 11:00 am – 2:00pm at Morris Funeral Chapel Ltd, 4 Division St. Bowmanville, ON L1C 2Z1</p>
