Kevin Rabishaw Newmarket Obituary

Kevin Rabishaw

Passed away peacefully in his home in Sharon, Ontario on October 13, 2017 with his cherished family and friends holding him close. Kevin lived each of his 57 years to the fullest and had a positive impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He leaves his high school sweetheart and wife, Bryna (nee Walsh) and his beautiful children Katrina and Jesse and faithful four-legged companion Beringer. Brother of his adoring sister Shelley Lane (Howard) and Penny Rabishaw. Son of the late Bennett and Priscilla Rabishaw. Uncle Kevin will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and all the little ones who loved to spend fun times with him. Special times will be remembered by his many life long friends, cousins and colleagues. Kevin was a proud tradesman who successfully elevated the profile of trades in Ontario through his leadership and advocacy for recognition, policy, education and safety in the industry. Kevin was always busy with his many hobbies and enjoyed the freedom on his motorcycle. His ultimate hobby of Maple Syrup became our solace during the journey with pancreatic cancer and his treasured Sugar Shack was a gathering place for family and friends. Special thanks to the amazing healthcare teams at Southlake Stronach Cancer Center and the devoted healthcare and research teams at Toronto General Hospital and Princess Margaret who believed in Kevin and worked effortlessly to fight this insidious cancer with us. Kevin was committed to supporting pancreatic research to give others more time with their loved ones, since his life was shortened despite his great fight. Please provide memorial donations to Pancreatic Cancer Canada. On-line condolences at www.roadhouseandrose.com. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home 157 Main St S Newmarket on Monday October 16th from 5-9 pm. Funeral service at St. John Chrysostom 432 Ontario St. Newmarket on Wednesday October 18th at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery.
