SHIER, NELSON - Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital Veteran Centre on Friday September 22nd, 2017 in his 93rd year. Loving husband of the late Phyllis Lindsay. Beloved brother of Russell (Margo) and family. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by his dear parents Albert and Olive Shier and survived by his brother-in-law Edward Martin. A celebration of life will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Sunday October 1st, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
