THOMPSON, Edith ‘Edie’ – Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the age of 83, with her family. Beloved wife of the late Keith Thompson (2007). Dearly loved mother and best friend of Lynn and her husband, Frank Dovi. Predeceased by her parents, Nora and George Johnson and her sister Shirley Gillespie (the late James). Edie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Lynn and Frank would like to express their most heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff on the Elgin Floor at Millennium Trail Manor for the care, love and compassion shown to Edie. A very special thank you goes to nurse Carey Gillies. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, October 20th at 1 pm.
