COOKE, Rita Mary (Harris) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 4 in Niagara Falls, at the age of 90. Beloved daughter of Maida and Louis Harris. Loving wife of the late Roy Cooke. Devoted mother of the late Lorraine (Richard) Brady, Anita (Kevin) Ridgeway and Lisa Cooke. Adored Nana of Meghan (Aaron) Butler, Laura (Myles) Micallef, Katie Brady (Nick) Morocco, Kieran Cooke-Kendall and Rylan Cooke-Kendall. Dear sister of Collette (Harry) Murdoch and the late David (Nan) Harris. Fondly remembered by nieces Michelle (Kenny) Brennan-Allen, Christine (Dave) Redekop and Patricia (Mike) Janas. Great Nana of Blaire and Addison. Great Auntie of Nicholas, Lauren and Ayden. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A celebration of life for Rita will be held Thursday at 11:00. Burial to follow at St. Davids - Queenston United Church.
