HAYLOR, William A. (Bud) – Passed away peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor on Thursday January 15th, 2009 in his 86th year. Loving husband of Violet (Vi) for 62 years. Cherished dad of Janet Vanderslagt (Abe) of Burlington, Joanne Niven (Gary) of Niagara Falls and Robert Haylor (Brenda) of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Loving Poppa (Pumper) of Kristopher Spoar (Angela), James McCannell, Justin Vanderslagt, Elisha Day (Mark), Kerrie Palumbi (Mark), Stephanie Niven, Leigh Ann Niven and Danielle Haylor. Great-grandfather of Sierra Spoar, Ryan Day, Victoria Palumbi and Matthew Palumbi. Brother of the late Kate Dill, Gerald Haylor, Barb Taylor and Ab Haylor. Bud was a decorated Veteran of WWII, and retired from Ontario Hydro after 38 years. He enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening and his family. A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 20th at 11 o’clock at St Davids Queenston United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association through the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street.
